주로 상사/고객과 의견이 다를 때나, 잘못을 지적할 때 with all due respect

 

I think ~ 만 써도 훨씬 부드럽다.

I think you are wrong. (제 생각에는 잘못된 것 같아요)

I think you are in my seat.(제 자리에 앉으신 것 같아요.)

 

With all due respect, I think you are wrong. 외람된 말씀이지만, 이 말 듣고 기분 상할수도 있지만

*부드럽게 말하는 단계

1단계: You are wrong.

2단계: I think you are wrong.

3단계: With all due respect, I think you are wrong.

 

4. If possible, 가능하다면

Can I get a quiet room if possible? 호텔에서 가능하다면 조용한 방으로 얻을 수 있을까요?

5. I was wondering if ~해도 괜찮은지 물어볼려고.

1단계: I wonder if: 지금 머릿속에 바로 떠오른 것

2단계: I am wondering if: 정말로 간절함이 들어간다.

3단계: I was wondering if: 과거 진행형으로 쓰면서 예전부터 궁금했는데 조심스럽게 여쭤본다.

6. allow me + 동사원형

Let me + 동사원형 < Allow me + 동사원형 < Please allow me to + 동사원형

격식을 차려서 말할 때는 allow me to ~
