2.  Mess 엉망인 상황/상태 

Sorry about the mess. (집 주인이 집에 사람을 초대했을 때, 조금 더러워서 미안하다 예의상 사용하는 표현)

Messy: 지저분한, 엉망인, 골치 아픈, 정리 정돈 안된

*dirty 랑은 다름(더러움이랑은 다름)

Mess with: ~를 건들이다/ 방해하다.

Don't mess with me.

Mess up: ~를 엉망으로 만들다/망치다.

I messed up everything.

Don't mess up.

I don't want to mess it up.

3.  I saw this coming. 이럴 줄/이렇게 될 줄 알았어.
